Chandler Hall is proud to announce the addition of dedicated rooms within our Skilled Care Facility for our Hospice patients.
Chandler Hall is now offering rooms specifically designed with our Hospice families in mind.
- General Inpatient Level of Care (GIP) – Hospice-designated rooms are now available within Friend’s Nursing Center for short-term acute symptom management, known as GIP. In this setting, families can take comfort in knowing that there is around-the-clock clinical availability from the skilled nursing staff complemented by Hospice nurses providing direct hands-on care for these patients.
- Short-Term Respite (up to 5 days) – A respite bed is available for times when caregivers need a break. This is short-term inpatient care for eligible patients and can be for up to 5 days in a row.
Direct care will continue to be provided by the Hospice interdisciplinary team, including a social worker, care manager, chaplain, and volunteers, as if you were still at home.
