Chandler Hall Community Outreach

With a deep and long history of embracing Quaker values, Chandler Hall recognizes the importance of being a responsible member of our community and strives to make a difference in people’s lives. We recognize that our ability to impact social change and outreach into the community at large is a constant work in progress and ever evolving.

Chandler Hall’s commitment to community benefit goes beyond random acts of kindness. For us, community benefit is about social responsibility and impact to achieve shared goals relating to issues in the aging process.

At Chandler Hall, we have been serving the Newtown Community for over 50 years, working with seniors and their families to meet the many needs they face.

Supporting You While Caring For Others

We offer a variety of Caregiver support groups to help those in our community dealing with meeting the complex needs of those struggling with Alzheimer’s Disease, other forms of dementia or memory impairment, or serious, chronic conditions affecting daily life. We are also curating videos on our YouTube channel to help Caregivers get assistance at home, right when they need it.

Internships and Training

Sharing our leadership and expertise is important, and training a new generation of leaders is also part of our mission.

Chandler Hall takes great pride in creating opportunities through our internships. Through these internships we seek to train the next generation of Nursing Home Administrators and instill in our interns the values and best practices embedded in our Chandler Hall philosophy of excellence of care and recognition of the dignity in
all of us.

CNA and Nurse Training

Chandler Hall also participates in Nurse Training programs with Holy Family and Drexel universities. We also help train Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in partnership with Bucks County Community College.

Volunteerism

Like many non-profits, we depend on volunteers to help execute our mission. Volunteers are more than an extra set of hands. Volunteers bring kindness and full hearts into Chandler Hall and add to the spirit of compassion that permeates our walls. If you are looking for a meaningful way to make a difference, spend some time at Chandler Hall!
