Chandler Hall’s Respite Care welcomes individuals for a short-term stay for a variety of reasons. Perhaps a caregiver is unable to provide care due to travel or illness. Maybe an individual is recovering from a hospital stay or illness and isn’t ready to be home yet. It’s even possible for someone to plan a respite stay to experience the Chandler Hall community before making a long-term commitment.
After a routine surgery, my mom wasn’t comfortable being home alone. A week in respite care gave her the extra time and attention she needed to recover fully and feel safe going home.
