At Chandler Hall, we are here to help every resident Navigate the Journey of Aging, and we strive to create a vibrant community for people at all stages of life. We are the only non-profit continuing care Quaker-based community in Newtown, PA, to offer living options for every step of your senior living journey. Whether you join us in our Independent Living or need full-time care, or need our award-winning Hospice services, we will be there along the way. Residents in all of our Independent Living homes, including the Cottages and Lofts enjoy free membership to the YMCA, and can take advantage of the Café and Dining options in other areas of Chandler Hall at an additional cost.
Each Cottage at Chandler Hall has a small area where residents can garden, hang flowers, and make the area their own. All cottages are roomy two bedroom, two bath residences, with some having sunrooms or patios for indoor/outdoor living. Covered parking is available and an additional designated parking space for a second vehicle. All major utilities and outside maintenance are included.
Chandler Hall Loft apartments are two bedroom, two bath residences with raised ceilings and roomy, well-laid out floor plans. Each Loft apartment comes with utilities and maintenance included as well as ample parking and a private elevator entrance. You may also walk downstairs to access the YMCA.
The Apartments at Llenroc offer an Independent living option with on-site assistance. Choose from studio apartments, which are perfect for singles, or one bedroom apartments that can accommodate one or two people. Residents in the Llenroc Manor House have two meals a day included in their plan, in addition to a Homemaker/Concierge who provides bi-weekly light housekeeping.
Each Apartment opens up to a warm, central gathering space with a fireplace, where residents can share a cup of coffee with a neighbor or enjoy time together. If residents find they are in need of any extra help, the concierge and nearby staff can help meet needs as they arise.
We have two Personal Care residences, Jordans and Phelps, each with a dedicated care team. Choose from studio or one-bedroom suites with walk-in closets, living/bedroom areas, a private bath, and a kitchenette. Our Personal Care suites offer 24-hour enhanced levels of care for those needing additional assistance with daily living tasks. There are common areas for dining and gathering with other residents if you so choose.
Chandler Hall's Hicks Memory Care residence assists your loved ones suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments requiring a peaceful, supportive environment where meaningful interactions are encouraged in a safe and secure setting. Our unit consists of spacious private rooms with all the comforts of home.
Chandler Hall began as Friends Nursing Home when it was founded in 1973. Since then, we have provided our residents with excellent skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and more. Chandler Hall’s on-site Short-Term Rehabilitation strives to help individuals return home within an average of 10-14 days after a hospital stay or surgery.
Chandler Hall offers Hospice services wherever "home" is for your loved one - whether in your home or a skilled care facility, memory care unit, or personal care facility. You will receive an interdisciplinary support team to help you through this difficult time.
